The oil-in-water (O/W) system is one of the most widely used emulsification systems in topical creams and lotions. In this system, oil is dispersed as the internal phase, while water serves as the continuous external phase. O/W emulsions are known for their simple processing, light skin feel, and good spreadability, offering compatibility with both oil and water components.
Based on preliminary communication with the client, the raw material was identified as animal tissue requiring size reduction and grinding. Through initial discussions between FLUKO and the client, a basic process flow was established, taking into account the raw material characteristics, processing requirements, and overall production objectives.
